Workshop - Site 17.02.09

Last week we did several site experiments in the underpass of Western Bank Road. The route links the university on both sides of the road, it is used mainly by students.

We were expected to bring a variety of equipment in which we could approach and test our attitude towards the site. We were asked to understand, record and analyse as a group.

Initially we split the group in two, one half of the group had previous knowledge of what the site was but the rest of the group remained unknown of the location. This approach was taken to test whether its achievable to tackle a site without any preconceptions.

The different methods of analysis we used were:

- Recording Sound
- Recording Performances
- Recording Movement
- interviewing
- Observation
- Sketching
- Photographing
